Express-Line Inauguration Event - Guests have been impressed
On 20 April 2007, the owner and the employees of the Derix Group have invited nearly 400 guests from the timber construction industry in order to celebrate the inauguration of the new express line unit that has gone on line at the Westerkappeln plant recently.
The guests enjoyed a wide variety of events in a wonderful atmosphere. In small groups they were shown around the premises. Then there were speeches and business talks and the guests enjoyed the topping-out ceremony of a timber framed house. It is interesting to note that the construction of this house started at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and was completed only four hours later. Further to that, the catering was excellent and the guests were entertained by a life performance of a percussion group.
When it came to the presentation of the new express line unit, experts have been impressed by its precision and speediness. All in all, the event was well attended and the guests enjoyed the atmosphere and agreed upon the fact that this has been a first-class presentation of the Derix Group.
The next day, the employees and their families had the opportunity to get together and celebrate. As there were also many children who were really enthusiastic about the party, this event was a little bit louder than the business event on the day before.
