Dimension of Structural Members
Usually girders with a size of 8, 10, ..., 26 up to 30 cm are used in the timber industry. With regard to the structural members it is important that a width/height-ratio of ≤ 10 is kept.
The length structural members can be up to 62 m, but the transport load should not exceed a width of 5,50 m.
